This program provides students opportunities to explore topics such as: agribusiness, agriculture, animal science, food science, greenhouse management, natural resources, plant science, soil science, and wildlife management. Hands-on learning is utilized daily in the greenhouse, barn, and lab. Students have the opportunity to participate in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and learn from professionals though guest speakers and field trips.

The culinary arts program provides students opportunities to explore culinary and hospitality topics such as soups & sauces, international cuisine, fabricating, meats, safety & sanitation, hospitality management, travel & tourism, baking & cake decorating, meal catering, and many other related areas. Students work in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and compete in Skills USA competitions. Several field trips to industry events and showcases are also an integral part of this class.

The woodworking program provides students opportunities to explore topics such as safety, joinery & adhesives, machine & hand tool skills, wood technology, CAD/CAM/CNC software, furniture construction, cabinet construction, equipment maintenance and finishing. Students complete hands-on activities in the woodworking lab to create their own designs. The class includes field trips and guest speakers from local industry leaders.

In this program, students build a house from the ground up, learning techniques in residential construction, masonry, drywall, HVAC, framing, roofing, plumbing and finish carpentry. Seventy-five percent of the class takes place on the work site. Students participate in the student chapter of the Home Business Association and gain knowledge from hands-on learning and field trips.

Housed at the Greater Michigan Construction Academy, this class provides students an early start on pre-apprenticeships and the opportunity to explore 1 of 5 trade areas including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and welding. Each trade has a hands-on lab space where students gain industry experience including earning an OSHA 10 card.
